Beyond language itself, I have a deep appreciation for Japanese history and culture. From the discipline and philosophy of the samurai to the rich artistic legacy of masters like Katsushika Hokusai, and the strategic thinking of scholars such as Miyamoto Musashi, I value the cultural foundations that shape the language.
My interest also extends to modern Japanese culture, including anime and contemporary media, which allows me to connect language with the real interests of today’s learners.

私はイギリス出身で、日本には8年間住んでいます。幼い頃から黒澤明監督の映画が大好きで、日本の物語表現や映像美に強く惹かれてきました。そして、日本の神社が持つ静けさや美しい美意識にも深く心を奪われました。
